Boyfriend fashion

The word boyfriend has regained popularity to women when it comes to dressing up. Men’s wardrobes are modified so that they can be worn by women. The boyfriend fashion has gone a little way through clothing from having boyfriend shirts, boyfriend blazers and boyfriend jeans. The blazer is largely used over a cocktail dress, blouse and skirt, paired with shorts, pants and leggings for the spring 2010 fashion shows. The rule in having this trend is wearing something that is oversized as if you have borrowed your guy’s wardrobe. Though they are oversize be sure that they are just one size bigger than you are or else the clothes will swallow you.  Make this style work by rolling up the sleeves or by wearing a belt to make balance and your figure can still be seen. Though the trend seems so masculine make it for work for you by adding accessorize and let your femininity come out.

Wardrobe Junkie

Today is a boring day. I have the day off and have no appointments so I decided on cleaning my house to keep myself busy. I ended up rummaging my room and I discovered that there this so much pile of clothes which I have not worn for a while. As what Sarah Jessica Parker and her friends did in the sex and the city movie I also started to sort out my wardrobe. Since the trends are coming back I might as well save all those which are still wearable. High waist skirts, shorts and pants are hot nowadays; you can match them with any top from buttoned to plain tank tops and accessorize them with a belt. Military jackets, boyfriend shirt and jackets, printed pants, jumpsuits, playsuits and rompers are also part of the fad. For some of the pieces I used my resourcefulness. With a pair of scissors, pins and needles, sequins, buttons and fabric I used my artistic ability to redecorate my clothes to make them look like new. I also decided to cut my worn out pants and turn them into ragged shorts. In this way I can stay with the hottest trend without pulling anything out of my pocket and just shopping through my own wardrobe.
